About the Gold IRA Kit Guide
The Gold IRA Kit Guide is a handbook for one moment: the free gold IRA kit has arrived, a phone call is coming, and you want to know what to check. It is published by Lead Partner and edited by Jan Wirum.
Why this handbook exists
Precious-metals dealers give their kits away because a kit request is the start of a sales conversation. Plenty of websites explain which kit to request. Far fewer help with what comes after: reading the pack critically, asking the representative the right things, and getting from a brochure to a funded account without a tax mistake. That’s the gap this site covers.
Every fee, minimum, kit description, promotion and complaint figure here comes from a dated company record with a source link. Where a company doesn’t publish something, we say so rather than estimate.
The editor
Jan Wirum, editor.
Jan Wirum is responsible for every page on the site. We don’t publish under invented names, and there are no other authors.
The publisher
The handbook is published by Lead Partner, a company registered in Norway (org. no. 926 580 094). You can reach us at editor@goldirakitguide.us.com.
We are not a financial adviser, broker-dealer, custodian or precious-metals dealer. We don’t sell metal, open accounts or handle money.
How the site is paid for
Two of the companies we write about, Goldco and Augusta Precious Metals, pay us when readers request information through our links, and Goldco also pays when a referred reader buys. That is why their buttons appear on our pages and why Goldco’s comes first. The affiliate disclosure explains it in full; the methodology explains where facts come from; the editorial policy sets out what we won’t do.
Our view of gold in a retirement account
Metal pays no income, its price can fall for long stretches, and an IRA that holds it pays a custodian and a depository every year. Regulators including the CFTC and the SEC have published warnings about sales tactics in this market, and we link to them throughout. We would rather a reader closes the kit and decides against it than buys something they don’t understand.
