Who we are

This site is published by Lead Partner (“we”), a company registered in Norway (org. no. 926 580 094). Write to us at editor@goldirakitguide.us.com.

What we collect

Server records. Like any website, our hosting provider handles technical details when a page loads, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, the referring page and the time, to deliver the page, keep the service secure and fix errors. We don’t use them to identify readers. The site is hosted by Vercel on a Pro plan with Observability Plus, and for that plan Vercel’s documentation gives runtime log retention as 30 days.

Analytics. We use Vercel Web Analytics, our host’s own analytics service, to count how often each page is viewed and how often /go/ links are followed. A click on one of those links is sent with two labels of ours: the company (Goldco or Augusta Precious Metals) and the spot on the page where the link sits, such as hero or table. Before anything goes to Vercel, our page cuts the query string and anything after a # off the address. If you mistype an address, we record only that a missing page was opened, never what you typed, and nothing at all is recorded on a /go/ address itself. Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy and compliance page says each page view or click may be stored with the time, the page address and its route, query parameters after Vercel’s filtering (we send none), the referring page, an approximate location (its example is country, state and city), the operating system, the browser and their versions, the device type and the version of the analytics script. According to that page, the service works without third-party cookies and tells visitors apart by a hash derived from the incoming request; a visitor session is not stored permanently and is deleted automatically once 24 hours have passed. Vercel also says the records are anonymous, are not linked to a person, customer or IP address, and are used only for aggregated statistics.

How you arrived. On the first page you open, a short script on this site looks at the address of the site that sent you and stores one of four values in a cookie named gikg_ch: organic-bing, organic-google, direct or referral. The cookie belongs to this site only, holds nothing else, and is deleted when you close your browser. Our server reads it only when you follow a /go/ link (below). No third-party cookies are set.

Messages. If you email us, we keep your message and your email address so we can reply and keep a record of corrections. We keep anything you send us for 12 months, then delete it.

Forms. This site has no form that collects your contact details. Forms you see after clicking through to a company are on that company’s site.

Partner links

Links to Goldco and Augusta Precious Metals pass through an address on this site starting with /go/. It sends you on to the company with labels for this site, the page and spot you clicked, the page’s topic, the page version and the arrival value from the cookie above. The labels contain no personal information. Once you are on the company’s site, its privacy policy applies:

Everything you type into a company’s form goes to that company, which may contact you by phone or email.

Sharing

We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. Service providers that host and run the site handle data only to do that. We disclose information to authorities only where the law requires it.

Your choices

• You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works the same without them, and partner links then carry the value unknown.
• You can ask what personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct or delete it through the contact page. We reply within 3 business days.
• Depending on where you live, privacy laws may give you further rights, such as the right to know, correct and delete information. We don’t sell personal information.

Children

The site is written for adults planning for retirement. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
